CHAIRPERSON
Dr. Heidi Heron PsyD

Heidi is a Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP and a principal trainer with the Australasian Institute of NLP. She has over 10 years of experience in the field of NLP and currently holds Clinical Membership within the ABNLP and is a clinical supervisor. Her qualifications beyond NLP include: Bachelor of Arts – Psychology, Bachelor of Arts – Communication, Masters in Adult Education and has completed her Doctorate in Clincal Psychology. Heidi was the 2008 ABNLP Conference Coordinator, has held the position of Secretary with the ABNLP for two years and this is her third year as the Chairperson of the ABNLP.

VICE-CHAIRPERSON
Simon Fishburn

Simon is an internationally accredited NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP. He has worked for Anthony Robbins in a Senior Leadership capacity and has been helping people using the tools of NLP for over 8 years. Simon is the creator and Director of Awaken Awareness Pty Ltd who specialise in 1 to 1 personal breakthrough coaching/therapy sessions, group workshops for men and women and NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner Certification Trainings on Sydney’s North Shore. Simon is also a certified trainer of Time Line Therapy™ Techniques as well as being a professional musician, songwriter and performing artist. This is Simon's third year as a part of the ABNLP Leadership Team.

TREASURER
Marie Chandler

Marie is a certified NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer. She aspires to bring more awareness to people and to grow the NLP community in Sydney through the sharing of experiences, collaboration and mutual growth. Marie comes from an IT background having experience in all areas of product development through to Support and is currently managing proactive Customer Programs for a global corporation. This is Marie's second year on the Leadership Team, she also runs one of Sydney's Practice Groups.

SECRETARY
Lauren Harding

Lauren is a certified NLP Trainer and Master Practitioner. Having worked in the music and fitness industries, she loves to inspire people to make their own lives the best it can be. Lauren joined the board at the end of 2009, this is her second term as Secretary of the ABNLP.

BOARD MEMBER Emma McDermott

Emma is a certified NLP Master Practitioner and Coach who has been pursuing her interest in NLP since 2002 through seminars, workshops, formal training and further reading. She uses her NLP skills dailybusiness owners in small to medium businesses. Emma runs her own business providing marketing, design and copywriting services to clients in the SME sector.  Emma has been a Board Member since 2008 and in the current term she is responsible for the Marketing aspects of the ABNLP.

BOARD MEMBER    Peter Shallard

 Peter is a Master Practitioner & Trainer of NLP. He specialises in helping entrepreneurs reach top performance. Peter blogs about NLP and business strategy and has a background in film. Peter joined the Leadership Team in 2009 and he is responsible for the Web Communication for the ABNLP.

BOARD MEMBER     George Atrash

George is a Certified NLP Practitioner as well as a Professional NLP’er in his profession and at as a Coach and Mentor. George has been involved in the development of people and staff for the past 20 year. George was on the speaking circuit in South Africa. From a professional perspective; George has an Electronics Diploma as well as a Business management diploma and has set up, bought and sold a number of companies over the years. George has been a Director of 2 Global companies,  Cisco Systems and Microsoft in South Africa and is currently the General Manager for Network Integration and Converged Communications For Dimension Data Australia.  George’s interests, outside of people, are handyman and has a passion for woodworking, running and cycling. He is looking forward to setting a “Healthy Body is a Healthy Mind challenge” to raise funds and get all the ABNLP members involved.
